Based on the findings of 15 national reports and additional literature, the report documents the incidents and types of discrimination which occur in workplaces and labour markets across the EU. In addition the report highlights examples of anti-discrimination ‘good practice' in counteracting discrimination, and presents selected recommendations for the EU and its Member States.
Each year the Agency draws together from the EU Member States a unique collection of data on the phenomena and manifestations of racism, xenophobia, Islamophobia and anti-Semitism. In each Member State a National Focal Point within the Agency's RAXEN network provides analytical reports on a number of fields, and on top of this, the Agency commissions independent researchers to bring together the national findings in an overall EU synthesis.
