It will help parliamentarians contribute effectively to the upcoming EU Strategy on the Rights of the Child. FRA experts will provide modules on international and European children rights’ standards, the rights of children in migration, child-friendly justice, and persistent discrimination and poverty risks for disadvantaged children. They will highlight relevant FRA findings and data drawing from the recent FRA Roma and Traveller’s survey and Child-friendly justice – perspectives and experiences of children and professionals - Summary. They will also feature the FRA’s Handbooks on European law on child rights and on children deprived of parental care found in an EU Member State other than their own.
