Children’s perspectives on child poverty and exclusion

Listen to what children say about the situation of people, particularly children, residing in the European Union, who are at risk of poverty or social exclusion and what they suggest to implement change.

This video was produced for the high-level symposium 'Is Europe doing enough to protect fundamental rights? - the children's perspective' by FRA and Eurochild.

FRA is committed to learning about children’s views on current fundamental rights challenges. Therefore Eurochild and the Agency produced two videos to include the children’s perspectives to the Symposium on 28 June “2007-2017: Is Europe doing enough to protect fundamental rights?” Children of different ages and backgrounds from Cyprus, Estonia, Germany, Malta and the Netherlands were provided with key findings by the Agency on the situation of asylum seekers and people at risk of poverty in the EU, also specifically considering the situation of children affected.
