On 1 February, FRA’s Fundamental Rights Platform (FRP) will offer civil society organisations the possibility to connect with FRA experts, policy-makers and international organisations. They will discuss solutions to the most pressing human rights concerns experienced by civil society across the EU.

The ‘Human rights work in challenging times - ways forward’, meeting will take place online. It will provide a space to exchange ideas, experiences and promising practices civil society developed during the current pandemic and beyond.

Civil society organisations can direct their messages towards policymakers during a high-level panel debate. Panellists include EU Equality Commissioner, Helena Dalli, the UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights defenders, Mary Lawlor, and FRA Director, Michael O’Flaherty.

This is a meeting with, and for, Fundamental Rights Platform organisations. Only representatives of Fundamental Rights Platform organisations can participate.

There will be no livestream.
