Racist Violence in 15 EU Member States

The report on ‘Racist Violence in 15 EU Member States' is based on national reports by the Agency's National Focal Points and includes available data for the period 2001-2004. The focus of the report is on the extent and nature of, and policy responses to, racist violence (and associated activities) in EU15.

Information is presented about official and unofficial data collection mechanisms on racist violence in each of the EU15, and the report highlights the need for improved data collection in this important area. The report also makes suggestions about how data collection on racist crime and violence might be improved in an effort to better understand the problem and effectively respond to it.
