"Pride not prejudice" say LGBTI people

In 2019 the EU Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) carried out the world’s biggest ever survey of lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and intersex people’s life experiences. Almost 140,000 LGBTI people told us about their lives – in their own words.

The realities they face are often shameful. For many discrimination, harassment and even violence form part of their daily reality.

It is up to the states, public authorities, institutions, and all of us to do everything we can to promote the full respect of LGBTI people’s rights.

No one should be afraid to hold hands!
