    A third of women in the EU have experienced violence at home, at work and in public. Young women are particularly at risk, as they experience high levels of sexual harassment at work and other forms of violence. Yet, violence against women remains an invisible epidemic as few women report incidents to authorities. These are some of the findings of the EU survey on gender-based violence from Eurostat, the EU Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) and the European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE).
